Welcome to my practice
If my 28 years of experience as a chiropractor has taught me anything it’s that stretching alone can help relieve and often remove pain. That’s why chiropractic stretching has become a specialty in my practice and why I consider myself both a healer and educator.
By teaching you how to stretch properly, you, in effect, become your own healer, able to reduce and manage chronic pain caused by a host of conditions including back pain, ganglion cysts, carpal tunnel, stenosing tenosynovitis, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome, chronic bursitis and tendinitis.
I am also a veteran adjustor, using my hands as activators, depending on the patients preference. These adjustments are done after muscle tightness is reduced with a form of massage called “active release.” I believe adjustments are important and go hand-in-hand with self care.
Each patient visit typically lasts 30 minutes to allow enough time to both treat and educate my patients on their condition and stretches they can do at home. This instruction is an integral part of of each session and hopefully will stay with you the rest of your life.
I come from a family of 8 on a small island in Hawaii and from an early age was taught humility and to care for my fellow humans. My goal is always to have my patients come away from each session not only feeling better, but with a bit more knowledge than they had when they walked through the door.
Please call me with any questions . I look forward to helping you in health with Aloha.
